Asset Class Coverage
Primary Funds
Our core service is capital raising for primary funds, with coverage of managers across private market asset classes. Our business model is qualitative rather than quantitative - we target a limited number of dedicated raises per year to ensure close alignment with our GP clients. We have experience working on primary funds from a variety of institutions, including emerging managers (Fund I-III), established managers and bulge-bracket institutions. In terms of geographic scope we work on Funds investing in both developed and emerging markets.
Co-Investments & Direct Investments
In addition to working on primary fundraises we also work closely with our GP clients on co-investment opportunities, both inside and outside their primary fundraise period. We also selectively work on direct investments from our network of ‘fundless sponsors’. Deal sizes we work on range from $15mm-$300mm.
Secondaries
A burgeoning area of the private market ecosystem in recent years has been the secondaries market. Structures we cover include traditional LP secondaries and GP-led secondaries. Continuation vehicles (both single and multi-asset) is an area in which we are particularly active.
Seperately managed accounts
For some of our clients (particularly larger institutions) we help facilitate the formation of Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) in cases where LPs desire more customised/tailored investment solutions than a GPs primary fund offering. SMA solutions we work on range in size from $50mm-$400mm.
